Juniper has successfully completed SOC 2 Type 1 certification after passing a comprehensive audit that evaluated 248 controls and processes that comprise the achievement of this accreditation.
SOC 2 is a set of requirements established to ensure the highest level of security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy of the organisational processes of service provider companies, required by the American Institute of Certified Auditors (AICPA) and certified, in our case, by Ernst & Young.
Javier Perez, Director of Corporate IT Transformation, comments:
“Juniper, always prioritises the trust of its customers and makes every effort to ensure the highest level of security, for this reason we are very proud to announce the approval of this certification. Juniper has pursued this accredited, industry-recognised certification in order to provide peace of mind to our customers, knowing that their interests are fully protected. This SOC2 certification, along with the recent PCI-DSS certification of our PCI-DSS Payment Gateway service, is a testament to Juniper’s continued efforts to ensure security. The next milestone we look forward to at Juniper is the continued review over the next six months of the performance of the security controls in place leading to SOC2 Type 2 reporting and the subsequent renewal and annual review of the status.”
